Hatha Yoga - Gentle/Beginners

The beginner classes are for those beginning their yoga journey or for students wanting to deepen their practice and their connection to Self.  These classes focus on stretching and gaining flexibility of the body while calming the mind through the breath and relaxation.  There is less emphasis on precise body postures and more on adapting to suit the individual’s body with its unique strengths and weaknesses.

The Hatha classes are suitable for people who have had little or no exposure to yoga, as well as those with physical and/or psychological issues, provided they remain under the care and supervision of their medical or other professional health practitioner. Hatha yoga is a quiet, slow approach which can be helpful for those experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, etc.
